After working in the baking industry for more than 10 years, Otari Kobalia, the founder of Glutenull, realized the importance of making gluten-free products that taste delicious. So, he decided to open his own gluten-free facility where he would focus on making high-quality products that would bring enjoyment and liberation to those struggling with gluten intolerances.
Bringing some family traditions from his home country of Georgia into Canada, Otari created his products based on recipes that had been handed down for generations. Otari found that while many other manufacturers were making gluten-free and yeast-free products, they still added loads of sugar, milk and eggs to mimic the characteristics of gluten. Understanding the importance of healthy ingredients and not wanting to exclude anyone from enjoying their products, he decided not to use any refined sugars and ensure all of their products were made with plant-based ingredients. Glutenull proves that you do not need unhealthy “crutch” ingredients to still taste great, and they provide customers with the satisfaction and confidence of enjoying treats that they know are healthy and nutritious.
