LifeSource Foods Oat Fibre is a great source of dietary fibre that can be added to virtually anything. It is also low in carbohydrates, making it a great addition to low carb or keto-friendly foods. When consumed, it absorbs up to seven times its weight in water, which helps improve digestion and keep you regular. Fibre is also essential for regulating blood sugar levels. Add this fine powder to special dietary breads, cakes, cookies, bagels, tortillas and other baked goods. It can also be added to smoothies and protein shakes, or sprinkled over cereals and granolas.  

LifeSource Foods Non-GMO Wheat Protein Isolate 5500 and Non-GMO Wheat Protein Isolate 8000 are both high purity, functional sources of protein. When added to breads and baked goods, Wheat Protein Isolate 5500 provides the most extensibility, rather than elasticity, to doughs and batters. Wheat Protein Isolate 8000 has a slightly higher protein content (~5% more) and provides more elasticity to doughs. Adding these to low carb breads is especially helpful for moisture management and attaining ideal structure and volume. 

LifeSource Foods Resistant Corn Starch and Resistant Wheat Starch greatly reduce net carbohydrate levels in baked goods while still providing optimal texture. Resistant Corn Starch provides the texture benefits of a high-quality carbohydrate, yet is 60% dietary fibre, making it a healthier alternative. It has a significantly lower glycemic response and calorie content than rapidly digested starches and helps maintain digestive health. Resistant Wheat Starch is 75% dietary fibre and has a low water-holding capacity, which allows for greater crispiness, smoother texture, neutral flavour and white colour in baked goods. It is also low glycemic but slightly higher in calories compared to Resistant Corn Starch. Use either of these products to make breads, tortillas, pizza crust, cakes, cookies, muffins, breakfast cereals, snack bars and more with outstanding texture and added health benefits! 

LifeSource Foods PolyD (polydextrose) is a type of soluble fibre that is often used to replace high volumes of fat and sugar. It works as a bulking agent in baked goods and is high in fibre and low in carbohydrates and calories. When added to water, it forms a gel that mimics the characteristics of fat to improve texture and keep foods moist. It does not impact blood sugar levels, making it a great addition to any low carb or diabetic-friendly diet.
